The Grand Opening of the Gatchelville Store 2013

It was a chilly sunny spring day this last Saturday.

Our very good friends opened their store for the 2013 season. Surrounded by friends, smiles and tales of the passing winter we were all happy to be back together.

The New Kitchen. Almost Done.

We have been working on the kitchen for over three years.

It took a whole year just to build the foundation. Built into a bank, like the rest of the house, it was hand laid stone by stone just like it had been done over 200 years ago.

A slate roof and three stories of pegged logs, all labeled, disassembled and then put back together here. This house and this addition has been a labor of love, attention, time, and so much work.
