Valentines Day Dinner at Lindas

My dear friend Linda had us all to her house last night for Valentine's Day Dinner.
As always the food was incredible and the house looked like a vision from a designer showcase.
She and her husband Carroll own the Gatchellville Store in tiny Gatchellville PA. It is a little out of the way from everywhere but she only sells vintage authentic goods in the old untouched country store adjacent to their home. It is my favorite place in the whole wide world to go to.
It ranks up there with ABC Carpet & Home, Tinsel Trading Co, Fish's Eddy, (all in NYC), Pauls Great Stuff in Frederick MD, and Paris Market in Savannah, Ga.

Thanks for a great evening!

My placemarker. The "K" is an old country store embroidery. So LOVE IT!

Judy's placemarker. Linda stamped the lips on all of the placemats..So adorable,,and romantic!

Linda made up "Love Questions" We were all a little afraid, because we had all brought our husbands. But they were love song lyrics that we had to guess who sang/wrote the song. I am very bad at this it turns out. Carroll knew them all.

Vintage Valentine's.

Where does she find a porcelain cupid with two heart baskets?

Noodle, the poodle, and some of the wares Linda will be selling at Kemberton.

For those of you interested, the Gatchellville Store is open on Sat and Sun March through October.
Also, many of these items will be for sale at the upcoming Kemberton Antique Show, Kemberton PA. March 17 & 18, 2012
